Here at the North Hampshire Medical Fund we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy statement outlines how the NH Medical Fund collects and uses personal information about our supporters. We obtain personal information from you when you enquire about our activities, register for events, or make a donation to us, etc.

The personal information that we collect varies depending on how we capture your data. For example, signing up for an event, being a member of our 200/500 Clubs or having made a donation. This may include your DOB, name, email address, postal address, telephone number and credit/debit card details (safely encrypted).

We also gather general information about the use of our websites, such as which pages users visit most often and which events are of most interest. We may use this information to personalise the way our websites are presented when users visit them. Wherever possible we use aggregated or anonymous information which does not identify individual visitors to our websites.

How do we use this information?

We will use your personal information:

  • To advise you of forthcoming events & fundraising activities.
  • For administration purposes, i.e. for Gift Aid purposes.

We strive to always protect the privacy of children aged under 16. We will always seek consent from a parent or guardian before allowing a child to participate in one of our events.

All of our online forms are protected by encryption. We also use a secure server when you make a donation or payment via our websites. We take appropriate measures to ensure that the personal information disclosed to us is kept secure and accurate.
