Here’s how it works: Let’s say you want to buy a pair of shoes from John Lewis. Instead of going to johnlewis.com, you go to easyfundraising.org.uk first. You click from the easyfundraising website through to John Lewis to make your purchase. The price of the shoes is exactly the same as if you’d visited John Lewis directly. After you have bought your shoes, John Lewis will make a donation to our cause as a thank you for shopping with them. easyfundraising collect these donations for us, and it costs nothing!
With gift aid, every £1.00 you donate becomes £1.25. Please download and complete a Gift Aid Form and increase your donation by 25%!
Gift Aid will not cost you anything. If you are a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim the basic rate of income tax on all of your donations directly from HM Customs: adding more than 25% to the value of your gift. Higher Rate taxpayers can claim the difference between the two rates against your own Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax liabilities.
Our Fundraising Promise
- We pride ourselves on keeping our admin costs as low as possible and as you can see above, from April to December 2015, the North Hampshire Medical Fund spent 11% of its income on support costs. During this period, the North Hampshire Medical Fund had an expenditure of £533,667. From this, £413,734 was spent on five different pieces of equipment for Basingstoke Hospital.
- As a registered charity, we report our finances annually to the Charity Commission and our annual reports can be found on their website here.
- We feel very strongly about the confidentiality of our supporters. We promise never to sell your data to any third party. We will not share your details with other charities.
- We respect the rights of our supporters and will not pressure you into donating. If you tell us that you do not want to be contacted in a particular way, we will not do so.
